Obtainssupplies and equipment for each bar and places liquors, fruits, glasses, linenor silverware in their respective places. Slices and pits fruit and fills icebins with cubed or crushed ice from the ice machine in the kitchen area. Washesand dries beverage glasses for the bartender and carries away all the debrisaccumulated at the bar, tables or counter areas. Replaces beverage inventory asneeded. Wipes counter areas, bar and tables and empties and wipes ash traysguests may be using. Assists bartenders in setting up service bars and portablebars. Maintains all aspects of the Beverage Control System, including dailymechanical maintenance. Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes asneeded according to guidelines and as outlined in CARE certification. Positionis located in a cigarette smoke environment.
Deep cleans all servicewells and self serve units on a regular basis. Understands and is responsiblefor all recycling, trash removal procedures. Complies with all use of chemicalsas laid out in department training. Operates pressure washer, performspreventive maintenance on Ecolab glass washers according to departmenttraining. Transports equipment and beverage stock carefully and accepts all newtraining and supervisor instructions for shift requirements.
Must be able to lift 100lbs. above one's head. Must practice proper lifting techniques as described indepartment training. Must be neat in appearance. Experience as bus personpreferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GEDpreferred. Is fluent on Microsoft Officesoftware products, and is viewed as an outstanding team player.
Able to work overnight and weekends is required.
Is able to work in smokefilled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods oftime.
Must be able to obtain andmaintain the appropriate license through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
