Provides administrative assistant support to the providers and clinic nurse supervisor. Responsible for providing advanced administrative support for the Department of ENT. Ensures advanced administrative activities to provide efficiency and organization to the Department.
Directly accountable to the Clinic Nurse Supervisor.
**COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:**
Demonstrated secretarial and administrative skills with knowledge of medical terminology.
Demonstrates proficiency in computer usage for database management, word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling.
Demonstrates high regard for confidentiality.
Demonstrated strong organizational skills and competence in oral and written communication.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Cadence, and EPIC.
**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:**
Associates degree in business or a related field preferred. Experience may be substituted for degree.
Minimum of 2 years related experience required.
