Want to be a part of a company that cares?Zerbe Retirement Community was created upon strong family values and our commitment to care for and serve our residents with respect and compassion a tradition started more than 50 years ago with the Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center. Our family-owned business has been serving the senior community since 1958.The 60-acre campus at Zerbe Retirement Community supports all levels of retirement living from independent residents looking for a friendly community to those in need of additional care from our warm, caring and compassionate staff. Surrounded by natures beauty and the rich farmlands of Lancaster county, our residents enjoy peaceful country living as well as the convenience of nearby shopping, restaurants and local events. The result is a rare, close-knit community made up of experienced, licensed RNs, LPNs and CNAs, support staff and residents that function as an extended family.I have worked at Zerbes for almost 40 years. I have always been well-treated and have great co-workers. I enjoy caring for residents and it is truly my calling in life. About 10 years ago I went through a very difficult time in my personal life. I received so much support from my co-workers as well as my supervisors. Coming to work was therapy for me and helped me get through that time. Theres no place else Id rather work!
