1 Person At A Time, LLC is seeking an experienced Certified Nurses Assistant/Patient Care Technicians (CNA/PCT). CNA will work effectively, both independently and as a team member, with a diverse population. Nurse Assistants will provide housekeeping services, personal care, and emotional support for disabled clients. They will clean client s houses, do laundry and change bed linens. Nurse Assistants may also plan meals (including special diets), shop for food and cook. They may check pulse, temperature and respiration; help with simple prescribed exercises; and assist with medication routines. Occasionally, they may accompany client outside the home, serving as a guide, companion and aide. Aides report changes in the client s condition to their supervisor. Aide will participate in case reviews, consulting with the team caring for the client, administrator and other health professionals.

Basic elements of body function and changes
Recognition of procedures for emergencies
Personal hygiene and grooming
Normal range of motion and positioning
Perform a variety of duties as requested by client
Ability to exert maximum muscle force to life, push, pull, or carry objects
Recognition of the physical, emotional and developmental characteristics of the patients served
Monitoring and assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organization to make improvements or take corrective action
Observation, reporting, and documentation of patient care, condition, progress and problems
Provide patients and families with emotional support and assistance with adaptation to disability or illness
Entertain, converse with, or read aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert
Qualifications and Skills
High school graduate with nurse aide certification
Must have access to a vehicle
Be willing to work a flexible schedule when necessary
Ability to effectively communicate in English both in writing and verbally.
Ability to work as a team member and independently is required.
Ability to follow written and verbal direction
Ability to complete assigned task with minimal
Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
Competent in basic PC skills required to perform job functions
CPR and 1st Aide Training
Clear Act 33 and Act 34 clearances
